The campaign wiki for Tales from the Bright
About this Project
The number one goal of this wiki project is just for me to learn Obsidian, a program for note taking and organization. Its boring and will probably end up completely ignored by me 3 sessions in. But this wiki is automatically generated and kept up to date with a little setup in GitHub for free and with 0 additional work from me.
That said: Nothing on the wiki is required reading. If you never open up this wiki again, beautiful, you will not be expected to know or remember anything. But if it is your thing, anything that gets published to this wiki is considered public knowledge.
This is a living repo, as we write the world I’ll add to it
Getting Started
- Prefer 5.5e but 5e is cool too
- Any classes are fine and most* official heritage/race without a fly speed is good.
- Point buy stats
See the World Overview
Backstory considerations, no need to answer all/any of these but just to get ideas going:
- You will begin as a part of a caravan on its journey to Lumenhold for the great Stonewake Festival, what brings you on this pilgrimage? Work or pleasure?
- Have you been to Lumenhold or to the Festival before?
- Where are you from, whats the deal there? (If not from Lumenhold)
- Who do you know in the caravan, if anybody?
- How well acquainted to the wilds are you? If this is new for you, who are you at home?
- What is your relationship with the gods? Do you follow any?
- What role do you play in your community? What responsibilities do you have and how do they play into this journy, if at all?
